Corruption rules in INDIA, and this is especially true for the MCD though crores of rupees are generated through taxes every year, only a fraction of that is spent on the development of the city. The mainstay of the corporation are the junior engineer's and the executive engineers, The MCD is responsible for preventing any unauthorized construction in the city but with the connivance of the MCD Engineers anyone can construct illegal structures in any place, even on government land.

Delhi today has more than 3000 unauthorized colonies which have not been constructed according to the Delhi master plan !!
It has thus miserably failed to provide the basic amenities to the largest section of Delhi.
how long shall this go on !? One blunder and protests, riots, well is there any END to it even remotely !?

first month of the new decade and we already have headLines engraved for it, what a warm welcome by expected to be most promising capital of the developing nations !!
It wont be long that the blame game would emerge out of this turbulence..govt. will blame it on MCD senior officials and MCD would in turn blame it on govt. sleeping over it sad that it hit the nerves of the sensitive and affected them..
FYI - MCD is among the largest municipal bodies in the world providing civic services to more than estimated population of 13.78 million citizens in the capital city.
Our army officials sure have more important and cant do without situations to handle, can there ever be justice done to their JOBS !? just ever !?
A Mountain out of a mole hill - first do things in a manner that create the hype for a non occurrence and then debate to prove the point of disapproval just to stand correct and high in their own eyes !! It has become so obvious why news bulletins get paid for what they do..
I am sure we have a life minus the Drama in here as common man - because its not worth the TIME !!

There are divergent beliefs over what constitutes a justice.One one hand there is modern welfare people who thinks that society affluent should be made to help out least fortunate and the other side believes they have a right to keep everything they earn.There is no middle ground between this.
You saw anti corruption reforms as fulfilling a moral imperative as believed is an obligation on every citizen but other side saw this reform as moral outrage an assault on their right.Its all hypocrisy and logical fallacies.Both parties have put fundamental values at odd in which every side is morally in the wrong.Almost 61 years have passed but no resolution.
Its acceptable to express your opinion and criticizes but its all bout difference in moral imaginations.I dont find a single nation on this earth where economic divisions doesn't exist.Not a single one of them had been able to provide amenities to all its citizens. Everyone see the remote area as problem and wants to throw away them outside But what about the people living in posh areas who in name of trespassing have acquired govt land and having their parkings areas on it. No-one says about them just because they are affluent and it makes them can do anything.
I partially disagree - both sides are not morally wrong !? well there are many ways in which I so totally Stand with what I said stands Correct !!
61 years is not -The End, the STOP is this thought that 61 years have passed and yet no Resolution, like I said in the post, the government land is easily consumed by bribing the Engineers, which needs a Permanent Hault, who would bring this change is our Generation, at least My Belief it is, yet again, the Youth of the past decades have bought the changes close to Perfection one after the other..so Yes with the pace we have Emerged so far..India has definitely woken up and is out of the Compulsive womb of the 'Corrupt-Diplomats' we are not letting go the 'reality checks' in Bulk either like in the past..
Obama's shout for stopping the BPO boom in India was just one of the threats the 'World Powers' are facing with Our Promising Youth..I feel close to the end of this Decade we shall collaborate and Accept corrections and even Formalize ways to amend necessities and come up as Bright as we ARE !!

Beautiful words and remind me of our hopes and dreams of younger and prosperous nation.......as i said its just full fulling a moral imperative and and a fondness for rhetoric.See people talk about such petty issues...this matters can be sold with a bit of goodwill.But we should sharpen our instincts and look for greater picture and that is fundamental role of a government...

People run after their right and forget their duties.Everyones cooperation is needed to make a nation succeed.Bringing shortcomings of MCD or dda wont help,we are partners in crime.We have become selfish.
Why should we blame politicians and officers who have their aim in loot and amass wealth and they are true to their aim and conduct accordingly.Guilty are those who on part of them talk of corruption but never do anything to reduce it expect talking on public forums.And i want to know they talk to which Public:-This incompetent and infertile ones who are so busy in fulfilling their materialistic considerations.There is a need to redefine "Practicality of life"

@ Ravi : yes..we all need to take the ownership. And as I said in the Last Comment things are going to be only on the Other side..on there way to Improvement :-)
