Jobs' death reminds me of "Randy Pausch" Co-founder of Carnegie Mellon's entertainment technology center who became one of the developers of the software project called "Alice". Pausch was also diagnosed of Cancer, pancreatic cancer !!
The man said : the inspiration and the permission to DREAM is HUGE !! Makes me believe even more in my madness of discovering my self on a daily basis..explore is a galore of satisfaction..nail it !!

I believe always be ears to people, listen to them with all your heart and soul, however just don't loose your own voice in the process..listen to them religiously, in the process do not loose the zest of your dreams though, for there's no better feeling than to be alive and unique !!
"The heaviness of being successful will be replaced by the lightness of being a beginner again. Sometimes life will hit you in the head with a BRICK, don't loose faith, it's an awful tasting medicine but the patient needs it. The only thing that can keep you going is, you've got to love what you do, and that holds true for your work as it does for your Lovers !! The only satisfaction is when you have got what you love, as with all matters of the heart you will know when you have found it. Keep looking, don't settle unless you find it !!
If you live each day, as if it was your last, someday you will be most certainly right. with this thought look yourself each day in the mirror and ask your self if it was your last day, would you want to do what you are about to do, and whenever the answer is NO for too many days in a row, you know you NEED to CHANGE something !! Remembering that all will be dead soon will encounter you to make the big choices in life, because almost everything, the fear of embarrassment or failure, all pride, all external expectations, love, these all fall in the face of death leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way you will know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to loose. You are already naked, there's no reason NOT to follow your heart.
No one wants to die, even the people who want to go to heaven, don't want to die and get there, yet death is the destination we all share, no one has ever escaped it and that is as it should be because death is very likely the single best invention of life. Its life's change agent, it clears out the old to make way for the new. Right now the new is YOU !! But some day not too long from now you will gradually become the OLD and be cleared away. Sorry to be so dramatic, but its quite true !!
Your time is limited, so don't waste it living some ease's Life, don't be trapped by Dogma, which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others opinions drown out your own inner voice and most important have the courage to follow your heart and intuition they somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.
