Quite a sad year by far..deaths one after another..of almost all legends..and now my dearest CAT :'( miss you Nonu :'(

Ten years of association..feels really weird to have lost him..he was playing on the terrace when another cat bit him and even when he was rushed to the hospital we couldn't save him..he completed 10 years with us on July 17th 2011.

my dear FATSO's (stuff toy's) name was also inspired by Nonu's name..named him "Nuno"
my Dad is really my lifeLine..saw him in tears the first time..My Daddy STRONGEST, would bend the sky instead to have faced sucha SIGHT !!

The man said : the inspiration and the permission to DREAM is HUGE !! Makes me believe even more in my madness of discovering my self on a daily basis..explore is a galore of satisfaction..nail it !!

I believe always be ears to people, listen to them with all your heart and soul, however just don't loose your own voice in the process..listen to them religiously, in the process do not loose the zest of your dreams though, for there's no better feeling than to be alive and unique !!

Sorry to be so dramatic, but its quite true !!
Your time is limited, so don't waste it living some ease's Life, don't be trapped by Dogma, which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Is love without passion possible !? Is passion without love possible !? Will that be called lust !? At some times, in our lives we find ourselves pondering over these intangible questions. These questions are hard to answer because the answers depends on one’s perception of these imperceptible human emotions like love, passion and lust. I have always found it hard to draw a line which separates love and passion from each other. I have always considered that they co-exist together for a meaningful relationship or in other words, that they co-exist together in a relationship for it to have some meaning really.

However, I have realized, that my notion of co-existence of love and passion was based on my perception of viewing love as in from a romantic angle. If I were to define the wider definition of love, I would say that love has got three components – mental intimacy, physical intimacy and commitment.

Mental intimacy refers to closeness one feels in terms of being able to understand each others thought process or being able to predict each others behavior. Friendship could be said to be dominated by this component of love. Physical intimacy means the attraction to the other person sexually or in other words, attraction driven by our desires. Infatuation could be described as a kind of love where this physical intimacy is the most dominating component. Commitment is perhaps the component, defining which I find it hardest to articulate. Commitment could be defined as the feeling which makes you think that you would willingly like to stick through thin and thick phases of the other person, support the other person during the bad times and rejoice in their success and celebrate it as your own during the good times. Usually, arranged marriages begin with commitment(forced by marriage) component of love and then progresses to achieve other components of love.

Based on the above described classification, I would consider a relationship driven by physical intimacy component as lust if it is a mutual affair, or as infatuation if it is a one-sided affair. And finally coming to passion, I perceive it as a relationship where physical intimacy is dominating with mental intimacy hidden behind the perceptible layers.

Defining intrinsic human emotions intricately is not easy. And sometimes, it is in our best interests that we do not try to classify our feelings or emotions. Although, the classification is really fuzzy, our intellect will reason us to label our emotions which is often not required.

P.S : Experience is a wonderful feeling. It enables you to recognise a mistake when you make it again hence at crossroads of life, one has OPTIONS ;-)

Saw a 9 year old boy sitting on the table next to mine ask the waiter ‘how much does a cone ice cream cost !?’ the waiter replied : ‘Rs. 15’ young boy checked his pocket and asked ‘how much for a small cone!?’ irritated waiter angrily : Rs 12. The young boy ordered a small cone, had it, paid the bill and left. When the waiter came to pick the EMPTY PLATE, tears rolled down his eyes and his lips dropped ‘Allah’. The boy had left Rs. 3 as TIP for him !!

Give everyone SOMETHING of what you have!! That’s a Lesson I learnt from the chocolacious 9 year old!!!!!!! I am suprised and amazed to believe the new generation!??!!! Feels like forever when I was 9..kids = young adults !?!! Thinking, maturity, innovative mind and fashion, talk about one definition that 21^st century youngsters haven’t taken to a new level of their existence!

I was so impressed that I ran after the cute boy and asked him for his name and age!? Suprised to my attention he Exclaimed I’m not very young anymore, I have turned 9 this june, and you are conversing with Russell, young lady extending his hand for a handshake!

In the perfect ‘awww’ of a chivalrous dream lover, I couldn’t stop myself from telling him that I am glad to see youngsters like you him exist at this age already !?!! to which he added mom always say ‘Don’t stoop low to find ‘em, stand tall they’ll find you !!’

I had been really STRONG in my train of thoughts about the youth (the class 12^th pass outs and college students majorly) being really silly for all they love is DRUGS, SEX, MUSIC, RELATIONSHIPS and FASHION! Indeed if I had to gist the entire thought I would exclaim ‘Hep goes the generation, pop goes the culture!’ because I have seen couple’s who are happy to convey you can 'touch' me but not 'touch' my cell phone !???! he he :p looks like He : Lets commit a Suicide and stay together forever, She : Sure, you jump, I’ll follow you, my love..He : Jumps off the roof, She : closes her eyes and walks away, conveniently saying ‘Love is Blind’..HE : opens the parachute in the air saying ‘Love Never Dies’ Lolllzzz J though after meeting Russell, I’d say lie lies right in the middle of ‘Believe = Be-lie-ve’

It can be read as “BE lie negative too !?!!!” Truth shifts its paradigm timely & conveniently in just what YOU BELIEVE!

Sonu Nigam's new TV Show.- X Factor..mind blowing is the experience for heart and a treat for eyes..The person was a struggler once and look at him now. Salutes to him ever since his album 'Deewana' was launched in '99. India has incredible talent and few contestants just make you drop your jaw in aww at their best. Recently there was a contestant who just left me spell bound with his performance. Honestly when he walked in, it was a feeler that he will be out. You know how it is when you think you know it all. More so he self claimed to not know music at all and was heartily thankful for the sponsor's of the show to have made him meet Sonu Nigam - being his godly figure, so even the judges Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal and Sanjay Leela Bhansali were expecting a bideu, however there was a twist, this guy started his Performance and there you go !! I am still spell bound recalling the entire experience, he made musical sounds from his vocals..vollahh !!

Left me to think that its not always what you think you know is the ultimate truth and the END. There’s a lot one doesn’t know at times and there’s a lot more that awaits a belief !

Exactly one year and life’s back to the mundane grind, promoted now with demanding job responsibilities. Feel victorious and satisfaction is at its Best. No love in life can match the love for food which comes from the hunger behind that develops after a long day of struggle and sweat. Decisions are always a mandate. Right or wrong is just relative, and follows.

June Tenth - Old enough to know what’s wrong, young enough to do it anyway! Promotion and new job role seemed to have been waiting for the right time to knock my door of life. 4 days before my big day I joined the grind and boy what a feeling !!

The big day - bombastic start of the day with heavy rainfall making the city look green and air fresh. Office morning on a friday was never so exciting, warm wishes from the new faces and few old one’s. Cake cutting ceremony and an early retreat from work, million phone calls, texts, e-mails, photo session amidst a drive to my darling Pia and bhabhi following another drive to The Kingdom Of Dreams. Camera is at its best when the faces captured are pleasant, the place is heaven on earth. After Disney land expedition in Hong Kong, Macau, its the second place I loved and am mesmerized with the food, people, colours, decor, the place is just a dream and gives you a heavenly experience.

After having a ball of a time venturing the tasty food at the cultural gully, it was now time to relish the spritual feast, Zangora – the story of the prince and the princess of a jungle. The Famous Gauhar Khan and Hussain (Indian Music album and Television star's respectively) played the leads, the story revolves around the princess named SONALI, the magical effects and costumes with the bollywood mix is one spectacular treat to the eyes with super hit bollywood numbers being performed on by the famous dancers trained by Shaimak Davar. Wonderful experience in totality. The place is a success ever since it was inaugurated by Shah Rukh Khan our king of hearts. Watching it was not less than a movie as the duration is close to 3 hours and leaves you in the world of angels. Grand Finale - The dancers ran to us and pulled us to dance, and I just said its my birthday, like they were waiting to hear it, and within minutes I was wished by Hussain and Gauhar Khan 'A Very Happy Birthday - on stage' wwhat more can you ask for, on your special Ddy. I felt like a princess as was dressed as the gypsy princess myself :-) hearing my name more than often as part of the play, it just made my day. Pia my lil niece jumped all through out with joy and lived twice at once, we couldn’t manage a Cake at the Kingdom and poor thing just kept asking me ‘Sonali di Cake kab kaateingey’ She’s a darling and my reason to live practically !!

On the way back to drop bhabhi and my lil doll, I pulled out another meeting with my birthday buddy. Dropped my family, met my buddy, we drove till my home, I parked my car, and we drove to grab a bite at GK-II at 3 am hada blast on the way all excited about our bird day he he :p felt like diwali for us because we could say ‘same to you’ in reply to 'wish you a very happy birthday’ to each other he he :p

lovely day, prosperous time of the year and being the number 1, that I am, I am ruling my happiness yet again in synchronization with my X Factor. Luck !! Its indeed a perfect blend of luck and blessings of the lord above in my Life.

The X factor or The Ex factor leads to The NEXT chapter of success in life, its just how well you learn to let go, holding on is not the sign of weakness since its not easy, because it defines the strength in you. Judge not and you will not be judged, condemn not and you will not be condemned, give and it will be given to you, running over, happiness, love and harmony will be put in your lap for the measure you give will be the measure you get back.

P.S : When you loose some one you love, its never exactly the same person who comes back ! By the time he realised she was the one for him, she was waking up with the Man who knew it already ;-)

Destiny - Poke-her-Face !

Hell was the name of his place called home,

he would do anything, to escape, no energy would he lack

for a simple reason to run and never get back..

The myriad squatters, the teeming hopefuls, gathered again, running, chasing and stomping over each other. The stench of sweat, those stains of phlegm, native expletives, randomly muttered. In this cacophony, in this rush, all he found was a mute isolation. Those heads popping out, their throbbing figures - mere images or figments of his imagination, swarmed just to make him realize - he was no anomaly, just a part of them may be estranged, or was as fabled to them as they were to him. Over the years, wizened skin and withered thoughts will teach him it was more than fictitious world who enticed. He will figure it was his gullible loneliness which fell for the luscious maneuvers of the crowd. For now it's public, for him, this longing for delusion and need to be misguided. The urgent desire- to mingle with the pile of thick, black smoke, belched out by that mighty industry's nozzle- to that extent where he is as good as not to be recognized, shedding the need for disguise and that urgency to hide.

Assuming we were empty canvases, I splashed at you.

I discovered a few unknown drops today. Once they were called Tears.

Those days they used to come attached with Emotions - mortifying sadness or inexplicable joy. I could arrange the drops up one by one on tip of my five fingers, look with vengeance if they were reason for ire or snap them with subtle delight had they brought pride to an otherwise lifeless dwelling.

But these were utter Blasphemy from eyes which didn't know - the norms of normalcy lies in designating and labeling.

These unnamed packets though, crisply packaged, are nothing more than orphan Kites.

Kites which float by the day to every child's fancy, but by evening are left to their own Plight.

Thinking drops they were, I set them free like Doves in search of distant peace.

My reaction was a tad too Late. Till then the strange wetness had vanished to nix.

Perhaps, the receptacles were a layered Truth over thirsty eyelids.

It made them Glitter but hardly quenched what remains an unending Thirst.

Everything happens for a reason, and is Destined, so we often tend to loose belief in our Hope's, trusting that everything is pre-written and nothing can be re-written, so Why Hope or Wish !?

What if He wrote "As you Wish" in your Destiny !?

So Never Stop Hoping, or Believing in your Dreams, your Destiny is in your Actions.

My Daddy is indeed My LifeLine and My biggest Strength. There is nothing in this world that He hasn’t given me. Raised me into an individual who walks with a High Chest and Head Upright and so Full of Life ! He is the key to my success Now and Forever will be. Its truly a Blessing to have a Dad like my Papa. Daughters are an apple of their Daddy’s eye – this holds so true in my Life ! I still remember I wanted a Barbie when was 6 and even before I knew it was called a Barbie I had it on my 6^th birthday not only on my birthday cake but among my Toy Family too, new clothes on each Birthday and Diwali and Trust me it used to mean a Lot in those days ;-) I often think will I be a successful Parent too !? Who would get my kids everything even before they could even dream of just Like my Dad. I still remember mom’s yelling on the chocolate munching sessions that Papa and me used to steal out of the late night’s and settle on terrace for..Phewwwww !!

Gone are the days..Why did I grow up !? Why is Life so different now that Mom and Dad Never yell at the consumption of those chocolates anymore !? Why does Mom no more hold my ears and raise her eyebrough’s and make a deal that if the glass of milk is not finished then there would be no play for the evening with the kids in the colony !? Why all the play has just become mere shopping and visiting a Mall !? Why has Life just entered a New phase without even being Demanded !? Why has the word Temptation evolved its meaning from craving of a chocolate to Earn Money and Achieve Goals !? When did Life emerge out of “playing teacher-teacher" to today’s “day to day meetings with clients and fetching Business” Why does Love now seem to be a totally new feeling !?

Funny how these words evolved and expanded my vocabulary and I so much stretched myself to believe all that Exists is this. This is it. The moment !! Just before I was able to even capture the flashes of this moment in my photographic memory there appeared a Light that outshined all the reasons inside, haunting loneliness in the eye, skin covering a secret scar and there appeared a hand waving a goodbye, there's no response or action returned, theres a deep prejudice within me, dreams all suddenly ridden with pain and projected unto the Last.

Education seems a necessary evil, what use is ‘A-Z’ if the words that comprise of these Letters aren't too Pleasant at long. Touching the score, world is green, the green buying the over rated joy. Virtues in Life good to read for the evil picture the world paints. Family ties extended, a marriage made in heaven not so heavenly while living it, it seems closest to Earth. Watching a part of me Grow, living moments whimsical. A duty bestowed by god, love blossoms on its own. Being a support for so Long, now wanting support, the call of duty shifts now, as if from Life I prepare to retire. Sitting in the arm chair with flashes of Life Lived. A smile, a tear adorn the face, illuminated by the moon.

Call of retirement comes from far, lived a World in Life, with Content & Smile I’ll close my eyes to open them in another

He just keeps getting better which is by the way "Humanly Impossible" !! Its not for nothing that I, among 1.2 Billion Indian Population and Billions across This Big Wide World call him GOD !!

But still I don’t want to be in those shoes. We struggle in keeping our monotonous lives straight, lives which affect a limited number of people. Imagine what would be the magnitude of the inner struggle for him, pain both mental and physical, tears that have frozen with time, knees and ankles and every other joint in the body that is either bandaged or needs to be attended to every night, eyes that don’t sleep before a big game, bats that have scored 99 international tons and still see expectations from a billion people.

And he just converts those expectations into reality. We watch in awe, feel privileged !!

Being Selfish is not vice..

One of the things that comes easily to every human being is being selfish. It is uncanny that the word bears negative connotations.

I remember a Dialogue from How I Met your Mother ( a sit com on TV) where Lilly ( a protagonist on the show ) asks Marshal " What is the nice word for Selfish !? "

and he says " Independent".

My rendezvous with the Feeling has been since long. Recently it was on account of an experience that made me feel evil. Some-one known to me cut his wrist and blead heavy, something similar my Sir did by hanging himself from the ceiling about 2.5 years ago on account of attempting a Suicide. And he was rushed to the hospital and recovered. I was very happy with his recovery and finding him absolutely ok was a relief, but I couldn't stop myself from thinking- why didn't my Sir had that Luck !? why did he survive and my Sir didn't !? And to be very Honest I was more upset for my Sir than I was happy for my known's recovery. Shear evil by the books right !? But I guess I have made peace with it that I am " Independent".

I guess people relate to things more easily once they make it about themselves. I have to admit that in my case it's a wee bit much. But don't we honestly live in a world where

Hypocrisy = Opinionated, Ego = Self Respect, Stupid = Daring, Agnostic = Secular, Idiot = Adventurous and yup Selfish = Independent !?!!

As we grow up we get beyond text book definitions and accommodate more meanings to every word. Our dictionary stems out of convenience. I guess convenience drives principles as well now.

I am not defending my Impulsive reaction. I know somewhere I have not come in terms with My Sir's death and mostly I was always Selfish. But the "good part" is some of my biggest acts of kindness and friendliness are an outcome of this so called vice. I am nice to people because at the end of the day it makes me happy.

I think of all the power that the human mind has the power to reason is the strongest. It helps us to look at our vices and give them a practical twist. We reason to be accepted not just in others eyes but our own. I guess it helps me conclude that being Selfish is really ok, as long as I can reason it.
